Overall I enjoyed my stay. The Spa, food, and staff were all great. For my room, the combined tub/shower is not the best, and is pretty awkward to use due to the placement of the shower head and no curtain. The bed was a bit too hard as well.

I booked these two rooms back in April/May, 3 months ago, so I was not happy when we checked in to find out that we did not have the rooms next to each other. Or not even in the same building! That I think is very bad!

We had an excellent 10-night stay in July 2024 and all of the hotel staff were very attentive and helpful, the food was first-class and the hotel is set in the perfect location for exploring the local area on foot, by car or by public-transport.

Stayed many times before and the hotel is as good as ever. Everything first class, but we stayed in the new building on the lowest floor and this opens out onto a communal terrace so you take a risk if leaving the sliding door open at night. Also I saw no sign of aircon.
