Hotel guests can choose to forgo daily room cleaning and have a tree planted instead. This sustainable initiative not only benefits the environment, but also the regional community.

How does the green conscience work?

No room cleaning:
Guests who opt for the Green Conscience leave their room untouched during their stay. This saves valuable resources such as water and cleaning agents.

Tree planting:
A tree is planted for each guest as a thank you for not cleaning their room. This campaign is supported by the “Stiftung Unternehmen Wald” and contributes to reforestation.

Regional sustainability:
The Schwarzwaldhotel Treschers is thus also involved locally. The cooperation with the foundation from Freiburg strengthens the region and creates a positive effect for the local environment.
