We had an excellent 10-night stay in July 2024 and all of the hotel staff were very attentive and helpful, the food was first-class and the hotel is set in the perfect location for exploring the local area on foot, by car or by public-transport.

Stayed many times before and the hotel is as good as ever. Everything first class, but we stayed in the new building on the lowest floor and this opens out onto a communal terrace so you take a risk if leaving the sliding door open at night. Also I saw no sign of aircon.

All the staff held the perfect balance between garding enough privacy fur us and, at the same time, making us feel at home. The hotel is undergoing a refurbishment ( visible in some corners of the hotel) . This means that this hotel is investing in it's future and wellbeing of guests to come . That is a very good sign
